Experiences That Have Made Me Grow Up

There are a lot of things that I have changed during the last five years. Although I have had some bad experiences in my life, I have learned from them. I think that I have grown up in different senses.
Five years ago I was 26 years old when I decided to travel to England because I wanted to study English. At the same time, I wanted to be an independent person. I think during that time I maturated a lot. Before that, I was a very spoiled girl. My parents always had given me everything that I wanted, so living on my own taught me to work very hard in order to get whatever I wanted. Also I learned to save money, to take care of all my stuff and to be a very responsible and organized girl. Since that phase of my life, I have tried to improve every day to be a good woman.
However , I have made some mistakes that have made me suffer, but I have learned from them too. One of these mistakes was to get married. It was may be the worst experience in my life. I did not really know the person who I married, so the marriage never worked. Despite this I have learned that I must think carefully before take any important decision in my life, even more when it is about my happiness.
As a conclusion I have had relevant experiences in my life during the last five years that have changed me in a good way.

Shakira

Shakira is a Latin American famous singer. She is from Colombia. She started to write song's letters since she was 8. She began to be listened on the radio when she was 13 years old with her first album called " Magia". Some years later, she participated in a Colombian opera called Oasis which was about Armero tragedy. After that, she has produced and released 5 albums which have given to her different prizes like Latin Grammy and Billboard awards. Her most recently album is " She Wolf". Although, the album hasn't been released yet this song is being listened already around the world. She has sang with some famous singers too. Songs as "Si tu no vuelves" with Miguel Bose, "Te lo agradezco pero no" with Alejandro Sanz and " Beautiful liar" with Beyonce have been also hits in her musical carrier. She has made humanitarian work. Shakira created her children foundation named " Pies Descalzos " where she helps poor children to have studies. Recently, through her foundation she found a school in her natal city Barranquilla. Nowadays, She is the most famous singer woman in Latin America, and "she is the highest best-selling Colombian artist of all times"1. Therefore to be a singer, she is an expert Arabic dancer due to her Eastern ancestors.
